Everyone who's due around the same time as I am already had their babies - I'm waiting here impatiently for my turn. I'm super anxious and excited but very nervous of how painful this is gonna be. Anyways, overall just excited and ready for baby to make his appearance.
My mom has been staying with us for two weeks now and will be here till mid Nov. Hoping my dad can take some time off work to make a visit here. Baby time means more time with family. My brother and some family and friends will be visiting for AJ's baptism as well.
I officially can't wear my wedding ring :( it's stowed away till after baby; when my fingers aren't swollen anymore. Here's one of my fav wedding pics - our beautiful rings and it makes me smile every time I look at it (we actually have a copy of this in our living room) :D
And since I'm looking back at pics, here's one of AJ at 18 weeks when we found out we were indeed having a BOY :D
Every time we had an ultrasound I couldn't help but tear up. And I've loved going to all my antennal appointments just cause it means that I get to hear my baby's heartbeat. Pregnancy has definitely been a long and hard journey; it's been a roller coaster ride. I've had the BEST support system I could ever ask for. And as time is passing us by and Baby AJ's appearance comes closer & closer, I would like to thank everyone who has been with me during this amazing journey - I appreciate every single one of you and your time (even if it's just to talk to me and cheer me up when I needed it).
The biggest thanks of course goes to God; who has watched over us throughout this journey. Ive had many scares and was even in a car accident this pregnancy. He has shown me that he is always watching over me and even when I was terrified he assured me of his presence and made sure that everything was ok. He continues to provide and for that I am grateful.
And lastly, a special thank you to my amazing husband. He is my Superman. He is awesome and always puts the family before anything else, he is selfless; and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better companion and father for our child. I look forward to the many more chapters in our lives, the new beginnings, and everything in between. I am truly blessed.
